On July 19, 24, FONSIS held a ceremony to pay compensation to people affected by the construction of the new Tivaouane hospital.

Sous la présidence du préfet de Tivaouane et en présence de l’Adjoint au Maire, le Directeur Général du FONSIS, Babacar Gning, a exprimé sa profonde gratitude pour la coopération exemplaire et la résilience des anciens propriétaires du site. Ce terrain accueille désormais une infrastructure hospitalière de niveau 3, symbole de progrès et d’espoir pour toute la communauté.

The Sovereign Strategic Investment Fund (FONSIS) has been mandated as delegated project manager (MOD) for the construction of the Seydi El Hadji Malick SY hospital in Tivaouane, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Action. Successful negotiations were held with the inhabitants of the village of Yadjine in the department of Tivaouane, to guarantee payment of compensation for the 6-hectare project.
