Installation de Monsieur 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗵 𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘆𝗮 𝗘𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗘𝗬𝗘 à la Présidence du Conseil d’Administration du 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦

On Monday 17 February, the Board of Directors of FONSIS officially appointed its new Chairman, Mr Cheikh Sidiya El Moctar BEYE.

The ceremony was attended by all FONSIS directors and staff. On this occasion, the directors and the Director General paid tribute to Ms Nafissatou DIOP CISSE, outgoing Chairwoman, for her commitment and contribution to the good governance of FONSIS since its creation. The testimonials highlighted her commitment to ethics and a participatory approach to decision-making.

The Directors and the Managing Director of FONSIS also welcomed the appointment of Mr Cheikh Sidiya El Moctar BEYE to this strategic position, highlighting his rich professional experience and his thorough understanding of the challenges associated with the governance of large companies.

The choice of a senior civil servant such as Mr BEYE reflects the desire of the highest authorities to strengthen the role of FONSIS in the country's economic transformation.
