Speaking on the development of renewable energies in Africa, the Managing Director of 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦, Mr. Babacar Gningoutlined Senegal's vision. He detailed our national strategy, which pragmatically combines the use of gas as a transitional energy source with an accelerated increase in the share of renewable energies in our energy mix.

He also highlighted the central role of 𝗙𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗦 as a catalyst for green investment, embodied by structuring initiatives such as the "Scaling solar" project and the 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 & 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 (𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗙), which is currently in an active fundraising phase.
