As part of the round table on the financing of the Green Energy Fund Senegal, a panel on "Accelerating Senegal's energy transition: financing opportunities and levers" brought together institutional, financial and private players.
Moderated by Ndeye Coumba Sarr, Director of Sector Investments at FONSIS, the session welcomed Fatou MBOW LY (MEPM), Cheikh NDIAYE (La Banque Agricole), Anta DIENG ( Meridiam ), Alexandre LALEYE ( SOLASEN ) and Babacar SARR, Renewable Energy Consultant.
During the discussions, participants stressed the importance of facilitating access to financing, strengthening co-investment partnerships, ensuring the attractiveness of the sector thanks to a sound and transparent regulatory framework, and improving coordination between players to promote the success of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
